Reproducible: -Reproducibility-

We had to rename about 15 groups in Domino directory.
Admin request were created in Admin process database for first step, Action: Rename Group in Domino Directory.

For few of them, An error occurred in Adminp:
Title: Central's Address Book Path: names.nsf; Error: Error looking up name on LDAP Server; See server log for further details.

In the domino log:
05.10.2012 10:13:08 Full Text message: Query syntax error.
05.10.2012 10:13:08 GTR search error for "D:\Lotus\Domino\data\names.ft\ftgi": Query syntax error.: Query is not understandable
05.10.2012 10:13:08 Admin Process: Received the following error performing a Rename Group in Domino Directory request on GROUP NAME (Path: names.nsf): Error looking up name on LDAP Server; See server log for further details.

No resolution yet, no fix in last verison. Bad.

The solution for us:
Delete ft index on names.nsf
Start LDAP server
Perform request again = Yes in Adminp
Rename succesfull!

After that we create FT index again and stop LDAP server (we don't need it)
